| The Vida Guitar Quartet is an exciting new ensemble consisting of some of the world's best guitarists with numerous tributes, prizes and awards to their names including: Editors' choice in Gramophone, Park Lane Group, South East Arts (Eden Stell Guitar Duo), BBC Radio2 Young Musician of the Year, Guitar Foundation of America (Mark Ashford), Madeline Walton Prize, and 'Live Music Now!' (Helen Sanderson), to name but a few. The quartet made its debut at the World Youth Guitar Festival 2007 and is to release its first CD featuring Spanish music with the BGS label in 2008. Mark Ashford and Mark Eden teach at the Conservatoire, so this is a wonderful opportunity to hear them on their home turf..
