VIDA 2015

VIDA GQ have hit the ground running in 2015 with a concert in Bellingham WA, USA, and showcases in NYC at the Chamber Music America Congress in January. Then back to the UK for a concert at Turner Sims as part of Southampton Classical Guitar Society’s concert series. Below is a recording live from that concert of the last movement of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No.3.

We also welcome new VIDA member Amanda Cook who is well know and a loved soloist in the guitar world, and we are honoured to have her perform in the Quartet. She and the other members of the quartet will have a busy 2015 with a new recording for BGS and concerts at St George’s Bristol, and Guildford University in the UK, plus concerts USA at University New Orleans, Spivey Hall – Clayton State University GA, Bach Festival Society – Rollins College FL, Brigham Young University of Idaho, Guitar Foundation of America hosted at Oklahoma City University, and 92nd Street Y in NYC, to name a few high lights.
